If you are willing to attend TOPIC 2023 even if the official language is only Japanese, you are very welcome to join it.

Although the COVID-19 infection situation continues to expand and converge with the emergence of mutant strains, there seems to be a consensus to continue social activities while taking infection control measures even during the spread of infection. In light of this situation, we have decided to hold TOPIC 2023 at the venue (some webcasts will continue). We would like to invite you to Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya, Tokyo, if possible, based on the situation in your respective regions and in the field.
　In recent years, coronary CTO treatment requires not only procedural success but also therapeutic appropriateness and safety, and the approval of new modification devices for calcified lesions has made it possible to perform the procedure on more severe lesions. New devices continue to be approved in the areas of lower extremity arteries and structural therapy, which are expected to improve outcomes and expand indications for treatment. While expectations for catheter intervention in the cardiovascular field are increasing, young interventionists are required to pass on their accumulated advanced skills and knowledge. TOPIC 2023 will also follow the traditional concept, and we would like to hold live demonstrations that can meet the expectations of catheter interventionists.
Thanks to all of you, TOPIC 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of our founding. We have expanded the live demonstration of coronary intervention to three days. Takayuki Ogawa, M.D. of The Jikei University and Makoto Sekiguchi, M.D. of Fukaya Red Cross Hospital have joined as executive course directors from TOPIC2022, and Tatsuya Nakama, M.D. of Tokyo Bay Medical Center joined as an executive course director from TOPIC 2023. We are planning to hold the on-site meeting under the new organizing committee. We sincerely look forward to your cooperation and participation.
